SSC conducted the Computer Based Examination from 18 December 2025 to 06 January 2026. The result was declared for shortlisting candidates for the next stage.

Candidates who qualified the CBE were shortlisted for Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT) / Document Verification on the basis of normalized marks and category-wise cut-offs.

The minimum qualifying marks prescribed for the CBE were 35 marks for UR, 30 marks for SC/ST/OBC/EWS and 25 marks for ESM, without adding NCC bonus marks.

Only candidates shortlisted through the Computer Based Examination are called for the Physical Endurance & Measurement Test.

• Physical Endurance Test: Candidates are required to qualify the prescribed physical events.
• Race: Race is conducted as part of the physical endurance assessment.
• Long Jump / High Jump: Candidates qualifying the race proceed to the prescribed jumping events.
